Would you consider changing your laundry detergent if you found a product that worked as well, at a similar cost, and presented the same convenience as your current choice, but with added environmental benefits? Tru Earth was born because the majority of you answered yes.
As founders of Tru Earth, Ryan McKenzie, Brad Liski, and Kevin Hinton share a common goal driven by their roles as parents—to create a healthier environment for their kids, realizing the importance of convenience in making healthier choices, sparked by Ryan's realization during a kid's show that featured an overwhelming display of plastic packaging, prompting him to think, "this is insane!"
So when the group uncovered a laundry detergent alternative that was supposed to be just as good, just as convenient and just as affordable as standard options, they said exactly what you would say – NO WAY!
However, upon testing the product, it proved effective. Encouraged by this success, they extended the invitation to others, and the positive responses multiplied. A subscription order was proposed to 150 individuals, with 1,500 individuals expressing their consent. Within 18 months, Tru Earth expanded its reach to 200,000 individuals in 52 countries, contributing to the planet's well-being.
Today, Tru Earth is experiencing substantial growth due to the efficacy of our products and their role as a convenient means to contribute to our planet's well-being. While we acknowledge we are not flawless, we believe in the simplicity of this action for the benefit of the earth and future generations, and we hope you will too.
